Meet Ginger Megs: A Handsome Ginger Fluffball

Ginger Megs is a loving boy, around 8 years old, who has had a challenging life. Abandoned by his owners when he was young, he was left to fend for himself. Fortunately, a kind neighbour stepped in, ensuring he had food, water, and a cozy bed on the verandah. Most of his life has been spent outdoors, never knowing the warmth and love of a caring home.

This compassionate neighbour did her best to care for Ginger Megs over the years, but her circumstances changed recently when she had to move into dementia care. Once again, Ginger Megs found himself alone. Facing the threat of euthanasia, as the owner’s children lived interstate and couldn’t take him, they reached out to Ninth Life Foundation and we stepped in just in time, rescuing this gentle boy from that devastating fate.

Upon arrival, Ginger Megs was understandably frightened, but he’s come out the other side and revealed his super gentle & affectionate nature. He would thrive in a calm environment where he can build confidence and trust. Ginger Megs needs a kind-hearted person to show him patience and help him adapt to the comforts of a warm, loving home, where he’ll never have to brave the elements or worry about his next meal again.

Ginger Megs enjoys pats and loves rolling over to show you his gratitude. He is content to sit beside you, nuzzling to get as close as he can. He is very playful and loves playing with his toys & balls as well as running around.
